1. Deals
We have received good feedback with regards to the deal pdf flyer we launched a short while ago. We have now made some further tweaks to this new feature, improving the deal layout as well as releasing not only a 4 deal flyer but now also a 7 & 9.
2. Client Order Form
A bug has been fixed on being able to select the excess mileage toggle between TBC & actually adding a price.
3. Program Update Process
We have changed the location of our vehicle image library which has now allowed us to speed up the program update process when running a Calas program update. This now means it only runs to a two part process as opposed to three which drastically reduces the time taken to do a program update.
Please note that the weekly synchronisation with the CAP database has taken place and to ensure that your local CALAS system has the most up to date Makes, Models & Derivatives we suggest that you do a “Perform program/data update” via the “settings” tab.
In this weeks update there have been:
New Car derivatives added = 65
New LCV derivatives added = 0
This will also ensure that your picture library and other certain data stored locally in CALAS is also kept current.
Also this week we see the addition of the new Subaru BRZ Coupe being added to the database.

1. PDF Special Deal Flyer creator
We have now released the ability for you to create a marketing flyer of your special offers as a pdf. This is very useful in that you can attach it with your day to day emails that you send out from Calas or your own email client ie Outlook etc.
To use this new facility go to deals, maintain website, Produce PDF Flyer. There is also a new video released in our eLearning Centre (see below)
2. eLearning Centre Video Tutorials
We have now added four further videos to our training library, they are;
- Unlocking locked clients records
- Adding a new dealer to the database
- Adding a new supplier to the database

1. Website Analytics
We have just released our New Website Analytics tracking and added it into Calas as a new tab as highlighted below.
The relevant codes have only just been added to the websites so there will be no historic information but moving forward you will be able to see traffic to your website on that day and also historic information.
This will give you information as to how the clients found your website ie from a portal, or google etc.
There is a new user preference is settings so if you don’t wish for members of staff to see this information you can set it accordingly.
We have some very interesting ideas to enhance this but if there is something specific you would like to see then please let us know.
There is a new Calas program release version 5.54 now available for download. In this update are the following new features.
1. Client Data Exporter
Following the release of this new feature we have now made some further improvements with the data you can now export following feedback. Also we have moved the location of the facility to export your client email addresses to this new feature and taken it out from the miscellaneous tab via settings.
2. Calas Vehicle Maintenance
A bug-fix has been made to the subsequent road tax calculation if this option is selected.
