Please note that there is a new program update available for download. In this update are the following new features:

1. Website Analytics
We have just released our New Website Analytics tracking and added it into Calas as a new tab as highlighted below.

The relevant codes have only just been added to the websites so there will be no historic information but moving forward you will be able to see traffic to your website on that day and also historic information.

This will give you information as to how the clients found your website ie from a portal, or google etc.

There is a new user preference is settings so if you don’t wish for members of staff to see this information you can set it accordingly.

We have some very interesting ideas to enhance this but if there is something specific you would like to see then please let us know.

Please note that there has been a new program update released version 2.12

In this update are the new following features:

1. Client Order Form

• When adding a client to the database we have now added the ability to add their address which will then in turn automatically populate into the Vehicle Order Form.

2. Stock Advertising

• You now have the ability to go into Preferences then Default Features and add your own standard Custom Features to your database so that when you then go and add a new vehicle to stock and go to Features tab you can select from your own as well as the options loaded automatically by ourselves.

Please note that there is new program update released with the following enhancements being added to the system;

1. Stock Search
At the bottom of the stock screen we have added a new function “Stock Search” whereby you can search for a vehicle in your system by VRM, Stock ID or Manufacturer.

2. Stock Status Change
You now have the ability to change the status of your vehicle from say “Current Stock” to “Awaiting Collection” from within the deal advert itself. A new field has been added just above the vehicle registration number with a drop down option.

3. Moving Stock Status in Bulk
You can now move your vehicle stock in bulk from one section to another rather than having to open each advert individually. From the bottom navigation select the “Transfer to” drop option and you will see a new option in the drop down list called “Bulk transfer”. You can either use the “Select All” button or select a number of vehicles by holding down the Ctrl button on your keyboard and select which vehicles using your mouse at the same time.

4. Advertising
We have changed the advertising of the vehicle so that when it is transferred out of “Current Stock” section all advertising is automatically turned off both in your own website & to any advertising portals you may advertise on.

5. Client Vehicle Order Form
We have released the ability to start producing your Vehicle Order forms from the Calas system which not only produces an Order Form for your client to sign but also if you have taken in a Part Exchange in the process the PX will automatically be added to your vehicle stock for advertising. To access this new facility you firstly need to go into “System Preferences” then into “Sales People” and add your sales team names to the system.

To actually raise an Order Form go into “Client Management” then “Add A New Client” if the client is not already in your database, once added then select “Add Order” and follow the wizard. We are still looking for feedback on this new feature and once we have received this we will also be changing some navigation to make it easier and quicker to create them. We look forward to your feedback.

6. New Features
We are always looking to enhance the Used Vehicle system and any suggestions for future improvements would be very welcomed.

New system enhancements released today:

• We have now added a column “Key No” to the main Current Stock list so that you do not have to open a vehicle record to find the allocated key number.
• New Vehicle Categories have now been added so you can track your stock more easily.
  Current Stock, In Preparation, Awaiting Collection, Company Cars, Trade Cars & Sold stock
  To move your vehicles between the new Categories just use the “Transfer to” option from the bottom menu.
• Portal View has now been moved to the bottom menu which when entering the button changes to Stock View making it easy to switch between the two.
• A Vehicle Count has been added to the bottom right hand corner making it easier to see how many vehicles you have in each section.

New system enhancements released today:

• New field added called “Key No” so that you can now record your key numbers against your vehicle stock
• Sorted out bug on pre-populating the Colour field on a VRM lookup when adding new stock
• Tweaks made to the ability of adding a standard paragraph of text to each advert automatically

New system enhancements released today:

• When entering the stock control we have changed the navigation to go to Portal View & Sold stock, this is now in tabs along the top rather than in the accordion view which was previously at the bottom.
• All the headings in the main horizontal menu are now sortable by clicking on the heading itself ie by clicking on the heading “date added” will sort the cars out in date order.
• Full screen functionality, once logged in you will see in the top right hand corner next to “Log off” a new link “Full Screen”, if selected the Calas system will go Full Screen which again on a smaller PC will improve navigation. You can then select “Normal Screen” to reduce it back to the normal size.

New system enhancements released today:

• In Stock Control (Deal View) a new column has been added called “Finance”. This easily identifies which deals have a Finance Example added to it.
• In Stock Control (Portal View) the “ticks & crosses” are now active buttons, so you can switch adverts on and off different websites just by selecting either the tick or the cross which will automatically change its status, this saves time having to actually open each advert individually.
• The automatic logout of the system due to inactivity has been increased from 10 minutes to 20.

What else is due for release shortly:

• The customer order form/invoice.
• More portal options to advertise your stock on.

New system enhancements released today:

• You can now have a standard paragraph of text that will automatically appear in each advert
• Standard features can be prioritised automatically when the VRM lookup is done ie have Sat Nav as your number 1 result and also rename the default list from say SatNav to Satellite Navigation.
• You can override the standard colour choices from say Black to Metallic Black
• You can now rename features from say SatNav to Colour Satellite Navigation or Alloy Wheels to 20″ Alloy Wheels
• The ability to manually amend the derivative to read how you want it to.

We have made some improvements on the way adverts now appear in Autotrader from our Stock Importer.

The adverts will now display a new link “Full details on this car” and if selected will now take you directly to the deal in your website, rather than just take you to your homepage.

If you are already using our Autotrader Stock importer facility we have asked Autotrader to switch this function on in your account so there is nothing further for you to do. It will most probably take them 48 hours to complete this.

If you don’t use our Stock Importer facility and do already advertise with Autotrader then contact us if you would like to start using this facility, its FREE and your stock is uploaded straight away no 72 hour delay ……
