Please note that there is a new program update now available for download. In this program update are the following new features:
1. Client Export
We have released the first version of a new facility via the clients tab called “Data export”.
With this new facility there are filters that you can select to extract certain information from the clients database and save it outside of Calas in a .csv file.
As stated this is the first release of this new feature and if there is any further information you which to be able to extract from the Calas system then please email us accordingly.
Please note that there is a program update now available for download version 5.52. In this update are the following new features.
1. Deal Exporter/Importer
We have now added a further column to the spreadsheet so that you can add notes to the deal that will then be populated to the private notes section of the deal ID when viewed in Calas.
2. Invoicing
Once an invoice has been raised it now adds an entry to the clients message log.
3. Calas Vehicle Maintenance
We have updated some pricing and also updated the Road tax calculations following the recent price increases.

In this weeks update there have been:

Please note that there is a new program update now available for download. In this latest update are the following enhancements.
1. Bulk Texting
We have now added the ability to bulk text your clients per section ie text all clients that are in “Quote sent” status etc.
In the task bar you will see a new option to “Bulk SMS”, this then works in the same manor as sending an individual text but you can select from the list which clients are to receive the text.
For clients that are not currently using this system and would like to do so just let us know and we will switch your account on, text cost 5p + VAT to send and credit can be bought in batches of ÂŁ5 + VAT or more.
2. Dealer Order Form
This has been updated to match our other template stationery and adds some further information on the order form that the dealer needs to sign and return to you.
Please note that there is a new program update available for download. In this update are the following new features:
1. Deal Export/Importer
We have made some improvements to the deal exporter/importer facilities in that you can now add your quote source to column “s” which is defaulted to “none”.
You must use the codes that can be seen at the bottom of the spreadsheet and use the quote source ID which is a number. Free typing in this column will NOT work.
2. Diary
We have added a new column when looking at the clients listing screen which is now the end column called “Diary”. This makes it easier to identify if a client has an active diary entry waiting to be actioned.
3. Outright Purchase Quote & Order Templates
Following last weeks update we have replaced the Quote templates and now released the Order Templates to compliment these.
Please note that there is a new program update version 5.48 now available for download. In this update there are the following new features.
1. Client Quotes – Outright Purchase
We have released a new version of the Outright Purchase input screen via the clients record and have also added two new quote templates, one for Business & one for personal customers.
We will be releasing the Outright Purchase Order templates over the next day or so.
2. Calas Home Page
We have now removed the first tab off the Calas Home Page which was for the old news section and it now defaults to the diary tab automatically.

3. Calas Data Update

In this update we have made further improvements to the Calas Vehicle Maintenance scheme and have now launched a further product to the portfolio.
The product range now incorporates Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze & Tyres.
The quotations produced via Calas now include all 5 options being saved automatically when generated and again on page two of the quote on the T&Cs page, a code has been added to identify the commission in the deal.
By adding this new product it now allows you to sell a simplified product being serving & tyres only. All the product literature will be updated in the Calas system over the next few days and we will update you once this has all been added

Please note that there is a new program update version 5.38 now available for download. In this weeks update are the following new features.
1. Calas Vehicle Maintenance
When you now save a quote from the Calas system there is now a code added to the second page of the T&C’s in the bottom right corner which shows the commission that is in the saved quote. This will help save any confusion moving forward when it has been difficult to calculate the commission due, particularly after a pricing review. The code will look something like this so it is not obvious to your client: g:50.00:s:50.00:b:50.00:t:10.00
2. Help Centre
The video help centre has now been taken out of the Calas system as we have now centralised it with all our products. Access will be made available very shortly and information on how to access it will be sent out next week. We have replaced the Help Centre tab with the popular WhatCar? news that was originally on the home page tab system.
3. Home Page
We have turned back on the “Client status summary” to show as default rather than having to click on the button to open it.
